9-handed table.Unknown villian just sits down and seems a recreational player.hero raises to $10 from utg with A J,hj calls,bt(villian) calls,bb calls.villian has about $350 and hero has him covered.
Flop($35):Q T 7 hero bets $25,folds,villian raises to $75,hero?

Call.

Call this and reevaluate turn, preferably starting with a check whether bink or blank.

Shoving this with a gut shot and NFD is a bit spew. What's your range for him?

He seems a loose player based on a few limp/call hands i observe. His range includes 3 sets,QT,Tc9c,TcJc,KcTc,Tc8c,KQ and AQ.My equity is not that bad vs this range on the flop.Effective stack is a bit deep though.Do you shove over with like 100BB deep?

If you want to have some fun and feel like gambling, min-raise him and call a shove.

Call is probably best, though.

If I were 100bb or less, I'd shove.

Vi have like 13 clean outs to the nutz, with both nut flushdraw and gutshot to broadway.

And shoving with this kind of equity is spewy you think? Are you serious?

Raise to $150. Shove any turn if called

You are asking him to put $240 into $435 which almost prices him into calling with hands that you dominate (OESD/flush draws) and certainly does not discourage any calls from holdings that you are behind right now (set/2pr). Worst case you are 33% to win here against 1-pr hands. Which is pretty much the price you are offering him to call here ... which is a =EV event for him. Why put money in the middle when all you do is break even?

What is your goal? Get him to fold since you have 'nothing'? Basically flip for $350? There is merit to semi-bluffing here and since you have 'nothing' and you take down a pot here in a situation where all you do is break even in the long haul.

If you are more interested in the flip here then you probably raised too much to a rec player who wont go broke on his first hand here without being ahead. Doubt you get a call here from AQ unless its AQs and they have the backdoor draw.

So you are risking $290 to take down $145 here. If you get 2 folds for every time you lose then you break even ... so does that mean you are +EV for all the times you hit? Probably ... big pot, fun to be in .. more than likely the best move before you get priced out of everything if you miss the Turn and/or you don't feel like you will get paid when the flush hits. GL
