Wow... Ballsy semi bluff? if I'm counting correctly villain has 15 outs? Any A, 10, diamond? I could never make that call with K8 though

I count 14 outs with one card to come versus V2 actual hand. Much less less outs versus range I put V2 on. I put the bottom of v2 range as AK with one diamond. Versus that hand V1 would have had 3 outs.

Since V1 wasn't drawing to nut flush, I consider his shove a pure bluff versus reasonable V2 range.

V1 definitely yes. I'm still conflicted about v2. Though he did have no business limp cold calling a 3! Pre with that hand.

Was a good game. I did well. V1 did leave and took all them chips with him.

I play in a game that occasionally has hands like this. Usually the person with the K8 (type) hand, folds and then whines about the huge bet.

But that's why we call it no-limit. Because you can bet any amount at any time and seriously take people out of their comfort zone.

I agree it seems like spew from K8 and I agree calling the initial 15 preflop is spew.
Although, he seems to be pretty good postflop to figure out utg's line didn't make sense.
I wouldn't call the turn call spew since he was around a 3-1 favorite to win.
