Playing at Caesars on a trip to Las Vegas. Villain (SB) and I are friends and play a lot together in home games (typically $0.50/1). I don't really like playing at the same table as my friends but my table had just broken and his table was very fishy so I couldn't resist.

8 handed

UTG ($150-200): Super fishy, limp/calls a lot and stations postflop. Very passive. Just doubled up vs me when he turned a flush vs my AQ on QQxx. Not super relevant this hand.

SB (Covers): Smart, decent TAG. He doesn't have much casino experience. I believe he lost KK<AA earlier but is now up a bit after running good and winning a lot of medium-sized pots. Can sometimes get a bit sticky and can overvalue hands/be over-aggressive. Doesn't really like folding against me, but can read hands/boards. Net-net, he should be a winning player.

BB ($325): I used to play like a maniac at our home games because people kept folding. After they started adjusting, I tightened up significantly. Presumably viewed as a good LAG, capable of anything, though less sure how my image is this particular hand, since Villain and I both realize there's no point in trying to outplay each other when there's much easier money at the table.

Preflop ($3):

UTG limps, SB raises to $10, Hero calls with J9, UTG calls.

Seems pretty standard, given stack/raise size and with position and a fish in the pot already. As an aside, I think this is where his lack of casino experience shows, since he should absolutely be raising this larger. Players in our home game tend to make most of their mistakes postflop; they generally are not going to limp/call massive raises.

Flop ($30): 983

SB bets $20, Hero calls, UTG folds.

Also pretty standard. I expect Villain to be betting with overpairs, draws, and hands with backdoor equity like AcKc.

Turn ($70): T

SB bets $60, Hero jams.

I expect Villain to be betting all his overpairs here. I'm less sure if he's going to be folding them super frequently, although I feel like he should. Villain believes (correctly) that I almost always raise my 2p+ on the flop, as well as my big draws, so if I jam, more of my range is weighted towards hands that hit a club on the turn. However, I'm also going to be jamming turn with all straights, TT, and 9T. From my perspective, I like jamming more since I don't need folds all that often, and even when I do get called, I have ~40% equity. Also, I feel like if I flat the turn, it's going to be hard to get action on anything that I hit (other than maybe a 9), and on bricks, Villain is either going to jam himself or call if I decide to bluff.
