Harrah's AC -- 1/2

Hand was sent to me by a friend, I thought the spot was actually pretty interesting so thought I would post...I am absent table reads other than UTG was the action player at the table so hero was iso'ing wider to play pots in position with him.

Hero Stack = 350, UTG and BB cover

UTG opens 7. 2 calls. Hero 3bet to 35 on the button 45. BB calls UTG calls, everyone else folds.

Flop(122) 237. BB leads 35. UTG calls, Hero calls

Turn(227) 6. BB leads 50...Utg makes it 150. Hero?

Flat pre. 45s is not a hand to isolate with.

Without better reads I think I'm folding turn. UTG is an "action player" but is he raising aggressively or calling a lot?

54s is a good hand to see a cheap flop, not a hand to take to war against an action player.

After that it's a weird situation that is all about reading opponents. Absent any other information I find a fold when UTG raises turn. The risk hero is playing into a made flush is too big when somebody wants to raise this. If UTG will spew off a lot of money with worse in this situation I might flat and see what BB does.

Depending on opponents I might even fold the flop. Hero can be drawing dead already and it will be hard to extract a lot of money from worse hands with 3 to a flush on the board.

Agree that 45 is not a hand you would want to iso with, that said why take it to 35? seems like 25 accomplishes the same thing.

Regardless of pre, I fold turn and probably would have folded flop. Might be different against one player, but not two.

really tough spot without reads.

We're probably ahead, BB could just have an overpair, and UTG a pair and a FD, but I want to know exactly how actiony action player is, and what BBs range is here.

I could fold or ship here on depending on those reads. Not calling. If there are enough draws in either's range, I'm shipping.

Regarding Action player...I mainly meant he was the spot at the table...Not sure why I said action given that could mean he was super loose or raising a bunch, driving the action at the table. Hero just said he wanted to ISO him specifically in position.

Will post results later on tonight
