V1($150): 40ish WG, loose passive player. Haven't played with him for very long but he doesn't seem very good at all.

V2 ($200): 45ish BG, pretty good player for 1/2. Been playing with him for a few hours and he seems to understand hand values pretty well, calling on the river with a middle pair when his opponent didn't have very strong a range, and open folded top pair on a river when it was pretty clear it wasn't good. Talks a little too much strategy at the table (ex. "well the pot had $90, so there's now way I'm folding my middle pair there for $35), but his analysis usually makes sense. Has a reasonable opening PFR range that isn't overly loose or tight. He's talked a lot about playing for 20 years in various casinos around the country and apparently some higher limits (not in a bragging way, just as part of conversation).

Hero ($600): 30ish WG, winning image, probably TAGish image bordeline LAG image. More active pre-flop than anyone else at the table. Has usually had the goods at showdown but had 1 or 2 minor bluffs shown down.

V2 limps UTG, 2 other limpers, Hero limps w/ J9 OTB, SB folds, V1 checks BB.

Flop ($12): 752. Checks to hero, who bets $10. V1 calls, V2 calls, rest fold.

Turn ($40): K V1 checks, V2 checks, Hero bets $35. V1 calls, V2 calls.

River ($150): 2 V1 checks, V2 shoves all in, Hero?

He's either got 77, 55 or AX. Either way, the quarterback is toast.

Probably a fold but there are a lot of V's against which I'd snap call. Your V seems borderline for me on call/fold. Tuesday afternoon fold, Saturday evening call.

If we are >200 BB's effective vs. most of the limpers I like a raise better but over limping J9s should be fine here.
