Table Dynamics:
Most of the table are SS with avg of 40bbs except for 3 players who have around ~120bbs. Everyone is trying to see the flop and shove when they hit something.
Reads:
Villain (~300): 30's Asian Man, plays many hands and plays more aggressively post than average rec player. He likes to take stabs at pots and capable of bluffing/semi-bluffing. Overall, I feel like his gameplan is to see a lot of flops and try to outplay the other players.
Hand:
Preflop: Villain Straddles $5 UTG, 2 callers,
Hero calls on the BTN w/ KJ., Villain checks.
I decided to just call as Villain likes to squeeze when he straddles. If hes does squeeze, the shortstacks in the middle might fold and we can be heads up with 150bbs effective.
Flop ($23): K
J
8
Villain leads for $20, fold, fold,
Hero re-raises to $45, Villain snap calls.
I should've raised to atleast $55, I admit I acted way too fast and didn't think this through.
Turn ($113): 5
Villain leads $60,
Hero tank calls
I thought about shoving here because his bet seems like a blocking bet., I think he could have worst 2 pairs like K8, J8, combo draw like 97dd or a pair with the nut flush draw. Thoughts?
River ($233): 2
Villain quickly bets out $70 without even thinking about it. Hero?
