The most important thing in these situations is to have a plan: Decide as soon as possible what line you want to take. IN the event that you want to continue with the hand,
POT CONTROL is essential.
Come flop, pot is $45 and you have $185 behind. Villain bets $40, if you call, then the pot will be $125 on the flop. If the Other villain calls then the pot will be $165 on the turn.
So, if you call the flop, come turn, pot will be $125 - $165 and you will only have $145 behind...
So, because pot control is now impossible with the flop bet and you have no K
this is a super easy fold on the flop.
You are only $15 vested and could be drawing more or less dead. Just let it go.
This is a great example of a reverse implied odds situation.
c/f flop
EDIT: Playing this out to the river can be +EV if we have solid reads and profiling on our villains and if our villains are prone to making mistakes. But truthfully, imo, this is a high variance situation and given that pot control is impossible, its best to just let this one go
