First, I agree with the folks who say that the pre-flop raise was too much. I'm only going to raise that much with a made hand, like TT-AA. I'm not looking to play a large pot out of position, period. I think AQ is probably the weakest of the premium hands, which means it should be played with caution.

Second, I dislike the bet on the flop. The texture of the board is actually pretty juicy, especially again two other players. There is a flush draw and hands like K8s-KQ are usually in the range of poor players in 1/2 NL game. It feels like a situation where, with the exception of a flush draw, you're only getting called by hands that you can't beat. I probably just check and hope to avoid building the pot any further. As another poster already said, value value value. There is no value here.

Also, fold on the river. As played, the guy could have a very wide range of hands and we're only beating a complete bluff.

Then you should either fold or limp this and then c/f whiffed flops if you are hesitant to play against players that are calling you with weaker hands.

+1

Additionally, if you raise less, and get four callers, you are still playing a big pot, OOP, with a hand that doesn't play well multiway.

Not cbetting this flop is playing fit or fold as well.
