Seems standard.

40/174 = 23% minimum equity to call

Worst case scenario (he only has hands that beat us):

Board: Js Tc 8d Kc
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 19.454% 17.34% 02.11% 2106 256.50 { QQ }
Hand 1: 80.546% 78.43% 02.11% 9525 256.50 { JJ-TT, 88, AQs, KJs+, K9s, Q9s, JTs, AQo, KJo+, JTo }

Now, if we account for him being tilted and more aggressive with marginal hands ("**** it I want to win this hand or I'm going home" mentality, as evidenced by the revenge limp/reraise):

Board: Js Tc 8d Kc
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 33.888% 30.96% 02.93% 5721 541.50 { QQ }
Hand 1: 66.112% 63.18% 02.93% 11676 541.50 { JJ-TT, 88, AQs, K9s+, Q9s+, JTs, T9s, AQo, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }

I don't think we're ever making a mistake getting it in here 45bbs deep.

just $10 pre? Going for balance? Seems like a standard 12-15 from utg.

Yeah I keep all my pf actions uniform based on position and number of limps.

There is no need for balance at these stakes.

I dont see what he could have with this line that you can beat.

unless you bet ott with the intention to fold to a shove, i would check.

I think you can check the turn here since not a lot of worse hands will call you, and this card will give him a better hand a lot of the time. Then you can either call or fold depending on how much he bets (if he does). If he checks behind then you can go for some thin value on the river.

We shouldn't really be opening that often from UTG.

As a result, if you want to vary your raise size based on position and limpers and all that (which is whatever) then I think you should just adopt a new bigger sizing from UTG. In general we are mostly playing value hands UTG and we would rather have a slightly bigger pot sizes. Also, the bigger sizing will encourage less callers, so we are less likely to get it 3-4 ways to a flop.

Just my two cents.

As played, of course call. Another good option is to bet pot on the flop, especially with this texture and chips behind, and shove any turn yourself.

There's just no line on this flop 44BB deep that has you folding. Obviously something like AsKs2s is quite different and is probably a check/fold.

reload pre. Going to be tough to beat a 1/2 game for more than minimum wage short stacking
AP stackoff

11t you're ck/folding?

Thanks for the responses all. I could see betting a little bigger pf and otf and shoving turn. I have decent sdv and a redraw so given stacks goo here is fine I think.

Spoiler:
I show, villain mucks. I assume he had Jx or 9x
