Hero- known winner to some of the table, but not all. Just sat down 5-6 hands ago. I raised my button once. Got donked into for half pot on a T77r board, called (bad FYI) and got 1/2 pot on turn to which I folded. Stack $253

Rest of villains are an assortment of loose passive bad. I'll call them the Borg because they seem to think and act collectively in ways that defy human reason. There is one stack that covers hero. Two of about $200. The rest are between $80 and $200. These are the relevant stacks for the hand.

Hand:
Hero is UTG+1 with QQ. Raises to $16. 5 calls including sb.

This was the hand that taught me that today's table would be routinely calling $20 preflop. Lesson learned.

Flop: T64 ($82)
Hero bets $65.

We see lots of threads in here that start this way and end with all kinds of frivolity. I want to hear sizing and plans please.

What if flop is T64 ??

Plan is dependent on villain but in general I'm rarely considering throwing this hand away at 1/2 on the flop. Of course you will always have your villains who are complete nits or who only make big raises with monster hands but for the most part our plan here is to bet 3 straights for value and re-evaluate if we see any aggression from an opponent.

Flop 1: 65 on flop leaves you with about 170 behind, if you started with 253. Even 1 call makes spr Lil over 1.3 or so (total lazy math BTW), only leaves a little over a PSB Ott. Not my ideal spot with just an over PR with potentially 5 ppl behind. Bet smaller otf, <sigh> call a raise, reevaluate Ott depending on x# of callers. Never comfortable w/ that many people to the flop.

Flop 2: wet board and a ton of hands out. Either shutting down to aggression unless I set-up (Qs would suck), or sizing a cbet to 3bet-shuv if raised, or shuving safe turn cards. But ppl love to overcall with middling pp's so sets are def in ranges(same as first hand). I just feel that any flop cbet leaves you nothing but a psb Ott, so your either b/f flop or stack is prob in btr. w/ just an ovrpr

U played it fine. Flop bet there is standard on both flops especially with that many people in. At this point u are going to play for stacks and if someone has u beat then ull har to pay them off. The pot is too big now for u not to decid whether or not to commit. Obviously if a 10 or spade peels off u can reevaluate but any other turn and im committed

U can get away with betting about 50 on first flop but I still prefer 60-65. Wih that many people u don't want to give people cheap cards. U also have to charge 78, 57,35 and 10x to outdraw u

Flop 1; bet half pot to get value from tp/2ndp.

Flop 2; most villains call any bet with a fd. I bet 98% pot and barrel all good turn cards.

This flop looks like you are good shape and have the best hand unless you get unlucky and somebody flopped a set.

I would be $40 on the first flop with hope that someone with top pair and a good kicker comes along with you.

The second flop I would bet $55-60 to price out the draws

If you meet a re-raise on either flop, I would tread carefully.

You set-up fine for turn shove. 5 calls + you is 6 way. Lot of hands to dodge but you're not deep enough to fold IMO.
