This is a 1/2 game that has had players quit and we are now playing 5 handed from initial 9. Hero has never played with this Villain before, who has joined the table about 30 minutes ago. Hero has seen this Villain playing in bigger cash games regularly and villain confirms this by saying he is waiting on a bigger table.
Since Villain has joined the table he has been relentlessly aggressive pre-flop and post flop. Raising to $15 about 75% of his hands pre-flop and barreling with ease. Only seems to check in SB and BB and raises the rest. Gives off an ultra aggro LAG vibe, and Hero has seen him tangle with a bigger stack running a 3-barell bluff twice. Got caught twice and paid off once.
Hero has been mostly folding, and folded to all of Villains pre-flop raises when Hero was in the blinds. Hero should appear to Villain to have a tight starting hand "range" and be somewhat on the cautious/conservative side.
On to the hand.
