I'd ask the dealer if his verbal is binding and gauge his reaction.

Strong means weak and weak means strong being the generally accepted table talk interpretation I would value bet this river

Spoiler:
I believed if villian had a 9 or a 2 he would have spazzed on the river and just went "all in." After the speech, I felt his range was QK, QJ, Q10, or Q8. So I just shoved all in. True to his word he instantly called and smacked down KQ. Prison Raping Complete.
LOL...thatta baby Lotgrinder!!

Hahahahaha this is KQ all day...I've seen it a million times, I'm fist pump shoving.

That said, it could be a level, is he at all competant? Would he know, that by saying that, you are going to shove into him? Usually verbally showing strength is mega weakness, but as I stated in another thread fish can sometimes give off reverse tells without even realizing it. To him, he could have a 9, and rather than get more money he is pounding his chest saying how brave he is against you. Don't bet or you'll regret it...nah nah nah...kind of thing.

Still, I'm fist pump shoving for value, bc it is KQ. All that other stuff is just overthinking. I think.

Whoops, didn't even see the results, yea this kind of proves it is KQ/QJ all day. Just get into overthinking levels like i do

I don't like the fact we went 4ways to the flop, so I'd raise more preflop.

I'd probably bet closer to pot on the flop, especially if I'm thinking of checking back the turn (which I usually am).

We certainly have the right image and right opponent to go for 3 streets of value for. So that's probably the correct play. But I always have a difficult time doing this for 150bbs with just TPTK; maybe this is my own problem, but if we've misread the situation at all we're making a huge mistake. Then again, perhaps not playing for stacks here is also a big mistake. Meh. My conservative nature checks back the turn to ensure a big value bet on the river is paid off.

As played, I think we've already made up our mind as to what route we are taking, so let's continue with the plan.

This. I'm shoving the river and feeling better about it after he acted like he was strong, when the truth was he felt weak.

I would think villain was acting strong because he wants us to check the river.
