Question $1/2 pocket 6's in BB on a wet board

effective stacks are $250. Villain is a Lag whom I've seen raise with Ax from UTG twice at this point. I would say my image is loose at this point, I was often raising the older fit/fold limpers so I know I was getting attention because they were complaining about this. villain raises to $16 from UTG. Lowjack, Highjack, both call at which point I call with 66 in the BB. pot is $60 after rake. should i be flatting here with or is it correct to 3bet. I called because of the implied odds of busting one of the other 3 if i hit my set. flop comes AT6 I donk bet for $40, Villain calls the other two fold (is this a good amount, should i have just allowed him to continue his action?) he had been aggressively raising bets on the flop with draws and overpairs which is why i chose this line. the pot is now $140. turn comes J at which point I check he bets $85 and i shove the rest of my $194 and get called by KQ. I rivered the full house, however i'm wondering if flatting the turn would have been better. because I feel like nothing I beat here on the turn is calling and nothing better is folding. the only thing folding would be the flush draws which even those might call at this table and also I'm thinking what i had behind may never be enough to force a fold. thanks for any advice and go easy on me I'm relatively new to the game.

I probably would have just lead turn and shoved river, but once you check and V bets you have to shove. Lots of hands you beat can call. 9 combos each of AJ, AT and JT which are all calling. AK and AQ both have top pair and a gut shot and can call. 12 combos each of those. So 27 combos definitely calling, 24 maybe calling, and whatever flush draws he has. Even if he flats AA and TT on the flop, which he will often raise, he only has 9 combos of sets and 16 of KQ so your shove gets called by more hands you beat than that beat you. That's also ignoring hands like KJ or QJ that can call

Preflop is an easy call.

Flop should normally be a bigger bet but check/raise is also good. The small donk into an aggressive opponent can also work but can't help you with size there, that is about exploiting your villain.

Once you lead flop and don't get raised you should lead turn. There are more hands that will passively check behind then bet at that point. When he does bet the shove is correct. You need to get money from the flush draws in then and villain can easily have two pair/heart draws that may not put more money in on river.

Bet/Call turn. As played the board is just so wet I can't imagine just calling here.
