I've been playing for about 5 hours at the same 1/2 table...I've bluffed once unsuccessfully and have been playing tight(Rarely 3bet pre(but then again, no one 3-bets pre at a 1/2 game without a real hand). Hero $350, Villain $450 1(fairly tight player, plays few hands but when he's first to open he makes it $12, likes to checkraise on river, won't play big pots without showing down big hands), Villain 2 $130
Hero is co
villain 1 is mp
villain 2 is co +1? mp +1?
Preflop: folds around to villain 1, raises 12, V2 calls, Hero raises 30, both call.
Flop is Qc7h2h V1 and V2 check to Hero. Hero bets 90, V1 calls V2 folds.
Turn is 5s. V1 checks. Hero?

Did you raise $30 on top of their $12 or raise it by $18?

Do we have the Ah?

I'm betting again here. There's $270 in the pot and you have $230 behind. I'd probably ship here.

JJ! Did you raise $30 on top of their $12 or raise it by $18?
I actually made it 35 sorry I have a bad memory. So it was 23 on top.
And I did have the ace of heart

I did have it. Is there any reason to check this turn knowing he didn't have the nut flush draw and his range can only be AA,Kk,QQ, AQ?

Ok that sounded kind of silly. I meant is there any reason to be afraid of QQ given the action and checking ?

I would check here. V likes to check raise on the river. Plus by checking you get him thinking his AQ is good here and maybe you raised with jacks. Plus you said he doesn't like playing big pots without big hands. Maybe he has AK of hearts and will pay you off if an A or K comes but would fold to a shove on the turn.

Ofc he could have QQ or 77 here too and by checking turn you save some money by just calling when he fires on a non-heart non-queen river. If he shoves river you can probably get away from it too. Or check behind if it's a scary card and he's going for the check-raise.

Of course you could check it all the way and take down a small pot.

I think I'm pretty much done betting after his call on this flop. I'd proceed with caution given his tendencies to only play big hands in big pots and his trickiness.

I'm okay with checking the turn as long as we plan to get it in on non-K rivers. I don't think he plays AK this way so, given your descrip, I range him on QQ, KK, AA, AQ only. KK and AQ might fold the turn if he's smart, but they are more likely to call the river when the turn is checked. I'm okay with either shoving or checking and shoving rivers.

You can't worry about QQ. He has only 3 combos of that while he has 8 KK combos and 6 AQ combos which play the same way. We are well ahead of his range.

Too small PF ... You raised $23 into $36+. Go with $40 plus next time. That will allow for an easier shove on the Turn (or over-shove on Flop) if it goes multi-way to the Flop. After 5 hours you both should know where the other is at in the hand. Stay in the lead and shove. If he has a set then fine, but don't let him draw to flush with QhXh at the right price ($100 bet) or for free.

You only have 1 pair, he shouldn't have 2 pair .. make him pay. GL
