Hero shoves. V says, "Well if you have a boat you beat me" and calls. I don't see his hand, but he makes a comment about how he was stupid to try to trap pre-flop, but he thought someone was going to 3-bet me, so I'm 99% confident he had AK.
So basically after his flop call, I was getting his stack no matter what line I took, but appreciated the feedback here as to how to maximize generally against this type of V.
