Villain new no reads. Tight table overall, playing fit or fold. ES $150.

UTG limps, Villain limps UTG+1, folds to CO limps, BU limps, I raise KK $15 in SB, Villain calls, all fold.

Flop: ($38) QQJ - do we:

C/C 3 streets?
B/F flop?
B/C flop, eval turn?

Flop action:
Spoiler:
I c/c $10 Villain lead.

Turn: ($58) 8

Turn action:
Spoiler:
I c/c $15 Villain lead.

River: ($88) 3

River action:
Spoiler:

I check, Villain checks behind.

Comments on all streets appreciated.

I'm probably betting all the way, most likely folding to a raise on any street

I think a read on the villain is necessary here.

Against an aggressive bluffy villain, I'd probably choose to check and let villain hang themselves with whatever garbage I'm crushing.

Against a passive villain, I'm probably betting to get things in on the turn. I probably woulda tried to size my preflop a little larger to make this a touch easier (but I have a hard time doing that at that table). I probably bet $30 and then shove the turn as I'll only have a PSB with an overpair.

As played you definitley should bet half pot on river for value. Villain has been making tiny bets which usually mean "i have a hand that i want to proceed with but please dont raise me".

I would have bet this flop for $30 to charge draws. When diamond falls i check for pot control and re-eval river.

I B/F flop for $25. Villain is calling 109, k10, XdXd, J10-AJ, 22-1010. Lots of value to be had.

I check diamond turn, maybe call a smallish bet.

I check river.

No reads on villain makes this hand difficult to play.

Bet flop, there are a ton of worse hands we can still get value from, including most jacks and flush draws... biggest mistake of hand imo

river we can easily lead 35 for value under the assumption he will never raise a worse hand, and if he does raise its a pretty ez fold, obv if he is capable of raising a river lead light(kinda rare at live lsnl!) then it may be better to c/call.

I know no read makes this a difficult spot, which is why I posted...Villain sat 2 hands earlier, so it was pretty much in a vacuum unless I throw out some unreliable stereotyping.

Thanks all - v rolled over 99 after river checked through, and I was basically curious as to whether anyone thought if flop/turn go c/c, I ever get called by worse if I lead river.

EDIT: also do you risk going for thin value over getting raised - even a min-raise is a puke fold in this spot IMO and my hand has some showdown value...
