Be gentle, 1st hand i'm posting.... probably not that interesting but here goes.....

It was summertime in Northern Michigan...

Weekend 9 pm....

1/2 NL $200 max Native American Casino Northern Michigan

no autoshufflers, slowwwwww very mediocre dealers, smoke drifts in from the depressing casino floor, maybe one hand every 3-4 minutes?

Everyone must show their hands when they go all in

Overall, a miserable place, but the only game in town that I know of....

reads:

EP V1: ~$180 Middleage white dude no history
MP V2: ~$1000 Laggy spazzy drooler flannel glasses looks like he's had 5-6 beers but not drunk.... I had history with from must move table:

I had raised to $21 pre from LP, he was only caller from EP, I bet 3 streets ~ 3/4 pot each on flop/turn with QQ, floated flop with no draw and no pair , check/called me, turns a gutshot, check/called me with 9To or something, which of course hits on river...I cryingly called his $20 or something value bet on river...

MP V3: ~$300 No reads Middleage white dude no history

CO V4: ~$2000 Solid imo very good Taggy player, but rest of table apparently viewed him as LAG/Maniac probably from previous history. Many comments about how he is "crazy" and "loose" he usually is (not sarcastically either I don't think). Saw him extract value multiple times at the must move table, as well as make very good folds, getting good hands.

Hero BB: $350 Losing image, in for $700, tilty, bored, irritated

Hero: Qs2s

V1 limps
V2 raise to $12
V3 calls
V4 calls
Hero calls (fold pre probably, right?)
V1 calls

Flop $~60

As Jd 6s

V1 bets $50
V2 folds
V3 raise $145
V4 calls $145

Hero ?

Fold pre.

Obviously folding pre here every time. As played I think the flop is a fold. You do not have the nut flush draw here and will likely have to call off the rest on the turn if you continue. I think that flatting with the nut flush draw here would be optimal, but you don't have that......... Fold.

Fold pre is spot on.. If u stay in the hand at best ur hoping for a q high flush OOP. A lot beats u

Maybe calling with Qxsuited is why you are stuck. I love that there are stacks of 1k and 2k in this 1/2 game. Cant be that bad. Was this the one in traverse city?

Snap fold pre. Might consider it if I was in position but from BB pretty awful call.
Flop easy pz fold.
We have the 2nd nut flush draw against a bet raise and call, and we arent even closing the action.
This is a no brainer.

:grunch:

Fold pre. Then grab your cards back from the dealer and FOLD AGAIN!

Either shove on the flop and embrace the variance like a donkey, or cash out and go to a strip club. It's a better use of your money. This is is a fold all day. If you can't make it it's time to cash out and go home.

(Or, I have a seat in my game if you'd like to drive down to southern michigan instead.)

Hero complains that there are two 6s in the deck and all money in the hand gets refunded.

make your BB range close to your UTG range. Forget "pot odds". Play positionally aware - don't just read about it here - follow through.

Everyone is all in so you can't so anything. Or are you asking how to go back and time and fold pre?

Hero claps hands in happiness,

River Brick

Hero wins pot

Hero then states I should never have played this hand, and I was too bad a player to fold, and calling is horrible, so I had to shove.

Thanks for reinforcing that my play was bad like I thought it was....

Has anyone said fold pre?? As played, hmmmm. What do you think the Villians have? That is the question you should be asking. Not fold or jam.
