1/2 NL at the bellagio, 10 handed, jus moved tables, and im $550 in chips, noticed 5 out of 7 hands since i sat down there's been a preflop raise,

folds to me in 4th position w/ JJ, and jus called BB, 5th position (about $700 in chips) raises to $15 dollars, button calls, and BB calls,,, I reraise to $55,
5th position calls, other 2 folds,

Heads Up on flop, pot is round $150

flop: 3-4-7 rainbow

i bet out $100, he calls, pots now $350

turn: K

I am not sure about your limp-raise pre. JJ is maybe a bit weak for it. I prefer raising myself to $15-$20 (though I think my game is a little loser then most, so raises pre have to be pretty big).

In any event, on the turn, unless villain floated the flop with AK (unlikely imo) the K is a brick, so if you were ahead before, you are still ahead now... Any idea of villains raising range pre, or how loose he is post?

I kind of like checking here to try and keep the pot smallish - though with $400 behind and $350 in the pot this is gonna be hard. If he bets small/weak peel. If he checks go for a vbet on the river - try and get some thin value from 88-1010.

Well your preflop limp re-raise "trap" is not good. You are only trapping yourself.

if you think ur jj is good/ahead
just shove
if you think you're behind, just check/fold

This is a fold just about 100% of the time unless villain is a huge donk. You made two huge mistakes here preflop and on the flop and you're too deep to play this one pair hand oop. Even if you do think you're ahead here a good portion of the time you're too deep to bet anymore and too deep to call anything, c/folding is by far the best option.
