I'll revert back to my earlier point: Pretty much EVERY SINGLE poker player thinks that they are better than they actually are.
IE, many players justify making questionable plays OOP or with worse hands because they feel that their skill advantage makes up for it when in reality they're over-estimating their skill advantage and/or the effect that their skill advantage has on how the hand plays out.
