Table playing nuts. Before this got 100bb stack in (he called) by turn vs flush draw and he got there with K7dd limp called $25 in straddle pot. Shipped 50BBs (right after losing another pot) with JJ over crazy lady raising every hand. She snaps with T7s and obv T7>JJ, raised KQs $20 preflop and check called K6789 (old lady bet $20 flop $10 river) and KQ<K6.

Agro MAWG - might not always play agro, but got caught up in the insanity. Made a couple big bluffs, and was calling super wide big raises. He had like $700 and all I heard is that he sucked out for big pot b4 I got there.i did also see him tormented after being raised and eventually fold twice. I assume they were big lay downs, but might have been 2nd pair for all I know the way table is.
Otth

Just got back from break and post $3 in LJ. Call crazy lady's $10 raise. Villain calls from CO. 5 hands see flop.

Hero ($330) A9 V covers us

Flop ($60)
A78
H - $30
V - raises $100
H - Ships $190 mo moneys
V snaps
Turn/river for fun - T3

Hero < Villains A7o

I had the same thing happen to me in December. Lost 3 buy ins and was ahead each time. Oh well, I'll never forget it. Thought you played it well.

That was me last night. 3 buyins stacked within an hour and half. Ahead every hand. Not 1st time though. I've def seen worse run bad but rare. Bro saying to play this spot passively bc we never fold out better. I add OESD on turn so results the same prob.

Tables like this are feast or famine. They will likely be some of the swingiest sessions you have. I've seen many a "decent" player dive into the mud with the maniacs and try to play that game. Don't fall into that trap. Some adjustments to your ranges and aggression is called for, but know what you're doing and why you're doing it.

As for the hand, it's pretty standard. Getting it in on the flop top pair + flush draw 100BB deep will never be a huge mistake.

If you think this is even remotely close to spew you need to reevaluate alot of things.

TP+NFD when they have every worse flush draw and probably worse kickers in their range is a dream spot. Sorry about the runout.

Not spew, just running rough.

I dont. Honestly, the reason for posting this is that I was criticized for it, which I thought was nuts. There is some merit to saying fold pre at table like this, lowjack, A9s in raised pot. I might have folded pre if I didnt post after missing the BB during a break.

His suggested line was ck call flop.

I think I agree with your brother TBH. I like the call on the flop raise. Then you reevaluate on the turn.

What turn cards/action are you folding? Jamming? Checking or ck/shoving? And can you explain the logic outside of just liking it better?

People say all sorts of stupid **** at the table, and good players who defy the conventional wisdom come in for a lot of criticism. Let it roll off your back like water off a duck.

Personally, I time my breaks so that I miss early-position hands, come back in time for my blinds, and never have to post out of position to get a hand. I can appreciate wanting to get back into this game as soon as possible, and at the same time, posting is a disadvantage, and why deliberately put yourself at a disadvantage?
