Villian (UTG +2) 100bb chip stack
Villian #2 (button) 150bb chip stack
(Hero is not a regular at that casino, but has been playing LAG style.)

Couple players limp Villian #2 raises to $10 QQ
Hero calls and Villian calls.
Flop: J69
Hero checks, Villian checks, Villian#2 cbets $20.
Hero and Villian call.
Pot: $91

Hero needs to 3Bet button.

Bet flop

Seriously what are we doing flatting pre and checking Flop and then leading Turn with the Flush and over-card.

You say you have a LAG image.... use it! By 3 betting here you will get called by a lot worse hands and have most hands crushed pre-flop. I'd make it $40 pre-flop in this situation, now you got to play out of position with a SPR >10. I like leading the flop here, since this board is super wet and you risk having the flop checked thru. I don't get your turn bet at all... everything worse is folding and everything better is calling/raising. I would check here and evaluate based on V's tendencies. If V bets and is pretty tight, I fold here since you unlikely have the best hand.

EDIT: Why are you referring to yourself as Villain #2? So hero is really your opponent what a mind ****. As played, I don't mind a fold here since V's donking range on the turn is going to constitute a lot of two pair, straight and small flushes which QQ is doing horrible against.

Hand history is way too confusing. (I know first two posters got it wrong.)

Just write it as if you are hero, not V2.

Seems standard. The only way I might consider even calling the turn is if we have the Q but still, I'm probably folding even if we do.

Also, yeah, re-write as if you're hero... not someone else..

Raise more pre, I usually go 12 and do 14 or 15 if there's limpers. Make sure you do it uniformly though so no betting tells. Then I bet more on the flop, like pot. On the turn here it's an easy fold.

Don't worry about it. Just make a new thread.

Grunch

I'd raise to $16 PF with QQ. Other than that I think you played it fine, but I'm not sure why you made someone hero and yourself villain. That actually made this thread more annoying to read. I think it's easier to read if you call yourself hero.

Edit: Just read the responses. It's nice to know I wasn't the only one confused! At first I thought the OP was hero too (glad I figured out what was going on before I posted). Even when I realized who hero really was, I still thought the thread was difficult to read.

No big deal though OP. I think it's funny and you just made a mistake because you were new. At least you didn't make the mistake of betting $100 on the turn with QQ (That was villain, no wait that was hero, lol sorry I couldn't resist ).

I'd raise to more than $10 preflop behind limpers. Why let them in for another $8? I make it $15.00. Even more with 4+ limpers.
