I was drunk, so the sizings might be off around <10%

Playing ~800-850bb deep eff

Villain seems kinda solid (for a live player), no history, we played like 30 hands so far only, called like 4/4 3bets so far.

Hero is BB, has 66

Villain raise 6, hero 3b to 22, villain 4b to ~60, hero call

Flop (~120) 963r
Hero x, villain bets ~80, hero calls

Turn (~280) 2
Hero x, villain bets ~160, hero call

River (~500) 2
Hero x, villain bets ~ 380, hero?

I tanked for some time, cause overpair is obv never calling, and he doesnt 4b 44/33/45 pre so i guess raising only gets calls from better, but it just seemed so nitty not to jam this especially at lol live poker where u see some incredible stuff, i just couldnt help myself and jammed with only <3 better combos villain could have (22 never 4bets and i dont know how often/if ever he 4bets 99)

So i jammed for ~1350

I guess id bluff 69s only (2 combos) so i need like 3-4 combos for value which would be 99 (3) and some 66.

Spoiler:
Obv villain snaps and has 99

As played raise river. Would have like a flop or turn raise though

I might have raised somewhere sooner than the river but I don't think I'm ever not going broke there. Ridiculous hand. Hopefully I only bought in for 100BB and ran my stack up. That would ease the pain somewhat.

All great threads start this way

I assume the purpose of this line was to get max value from an overpair that might fold to a c/r. I don't mind that if we're confident he's going to triple barrel. As played, if his pf range is something like AK/99+ and occasional 4b bluffs, I don't see how we could ever not try to gii on this runout. Just a cooler. Admittedly I don't have much experience playing HU this deep, so take that with a grain of salt.

On the assumption that most 1/2 players don't 4bet weak and he could easily have AA, KK, I love a flop raise to $200.

Preflop, I'm usually either just calling his raise or folding oop to a 4-bet. You're deep enough to setmine, but it's going to be hard to get max value against his range when we hit. (like you said, overpairs will fold to our jam)

Postflop, I'm never not going broke with this hand and this runout. We're afraid of exactly one hand, and it's a hand which might not even be in his preflop 4! range.
