i just get to a 1/2 NL table at harrahs, i buy in for 300, i have no reads on the table..everyones stack is around 300. About the third hand im dealt A9s in the BB. UTG raises to 7, two callers in MP..i call.

Flop 99Q Hero checks, UTG bets 30, MP calls Hero calls

Turn A Hero again checks, UTG bets 50, MP raises to 100, Hero calls UTG calls

River 3 Hero's move here?

I would have for sure check/raised this flop trapping both players. The turn/river is kind of damned if you do damned if you don't. Any action from you is going to tip off your hand.

I would open shove this river hoping one of them hit the flush or is incapable of folding trips or AK/AQ. The problem here is that too often if no one has a flush or better this river will check through.

Are you sure you weren't playing kgb teddy?

I just shove. A shove is way less than size of pot and I don't think these guys are going anywhere. Tbh if you check its prlly going in anyway but you don't want to risk them checking behind due to third club.

I don't like calling raises with dominated Aces, but it's for such a small percentage of our stack and we're going to be in a 4way pot, I'm guessing preflop is fine? Obviously I'm not planning on going very far with a TP hand.

With a big bet and a call on a very drawy board, I'm check/raising the flop now, probably to about ~$100ish. I don't like any plan that involves possibly have the next street check thru.

As played, I'm still a little worried on the turn that it might check thru and I miss a value by failing to start building the pot towards getting stacks in. So I'd probably donk out a smallish bet. As played, I think I'm cool with the call of the raise and hope UTG goes nuts or at least puts in some dead money behind me.

Pot is $420 on the river and effective stack is only $170, plus a scary card came up that might freeze the action behind us. I just ship it.

Do you have the Ac?

I would check-raise the flop. I think an argument can be made for c/r'ing the turn as well. Just shove the river, the pot is large relative to the bet sizes left. If you see AA/QQ oh well. There shouldn't be a ton of possible flushes out there, so we are looking at AQ/Q9, 9x. Just ship it in.

C/r the flop, bet 1/2 pot on the turn, and shove the river. And I've played so many hours at Harrah's Chester 1/2 that you are good here almost always.

not almost always, always.

a $7 raise at $1/$2 at harrah's chester is NOT QQ. it could be 10/9 suited. it could be anything, anything but QQ.

Did this hand happen yesterday? I was at a table where almost this identical action / board took place.

My ideal line would be: C/r flop. Lead turn. Ship river.

As played: open-ship the river. I think you're getting called in at least one spot (MP), probably both.

As kolb said, I think $7 raise pre-flop is never QQ/AA. Although I have seen some folks flat pf with QQlol.
