1/2 NL - Can I call this River? 1/2 NL - Can I call this River?

1/2 NL at Maryland Live on a Tuesday night, around 10 PM, 10 handed

Villain 1 (UTG+1) ~ $150: Mid-to-late 20's black male that has been at the table for a few hours. He bought in short for $100 and jammed the flop his first hand with TPTK. A pretty solid player making some decent value bets.

Villain 2 (UTG+3) ~ $250: Villain is a mid 30's husky black male that sat down at the table less then an hour ago. Earlier he bet the flop and turn where I was on a flush draw and checked the river. He called my river bluff with 2 pair. Hasn't really shown down a bunch of hands or done anything out of the ordinary.

Hero (BTN) ~ $225: Early 20's white male that has a pretty tight image at the moment. Haven't raised many pre-flop hands lately and slowly chipped down from around ~$350 to current stack size since these players have sat down.

The table overall is pretty friendly, all watching the basketball game and having a good time joking with each other.

On to the hand,

UTG folds, Villain 1 limps, UTG+2 folds, UTG+3 limps, folds to Hero who makes it $12 with J J. Both limpers call and we see a flop 3 handed.

Flop ($36) K Q 10

Villain 1 checks, Villain 2 leads for $20.

Pretty standard donk bet by the average villain in this game. Usually pretty polarizing to nutted hands or top pair weak kicker.

I elected to just call the $20 being open ended. Villain 1 folds.

Turn ($74) J

Villain 2 bets $50.

So I hit my set but with a 4 card straight on the board I don't know how much it actually improved my hand. I may have the best hand, but still pick up some boat outs.

River ($174) 7

Villain 2 bets $50.

Hero???

A lot of players in this game don't often 3-barrell bluff, but can I give him credit for a random A or 9? I tanked and was going through the possible hand scenarios, and I feel that AK or AQ would not have limped pre-flop. The flop donk bet feel more like Kx or AJ, where K9 is the only hand that I would fear. It's such a small bet though compared to the pot, it looks a ton like a value bet.

Feedback appreciated on all three streets!

I think the flop and turn played themselves, you really can't do anything other than call for these two streets. V's bet can either be a blocking bet or a value bet. There really isn't many Ax hands this V has (though AQ and AT are possible), but I think he has a lot more 9x combos here; especially since he donked the flop. He could easily have hands such as T9,Q9,K9 and J9. I think he rarely has 2 pair here, as he would probably check river and not value-bet so thinly. He could hypothetically show up with KQ or QT but it's unlikely, and he is rarely bluffing here. You are getting ridiculous pot odds here, but I probably fold this river.

I play flop and turn the same, and just fold the river. It's really easy for villain to have an ace in this spot.

I would say its probably ev neutral. You block aj/j9. I don't think you can write off ak/aq. I see a lot of limp/calling with these hands. Could be 2 pair/TT a bit here too. His bet looks as much like a blocking bet as it does a value bet. You are getting a good enough price on avcall. Better reads on v would help tilt thisn one way or the other. I think in a vacuum I call here just because his first three streets aren't consistent with hands that have an A.
