If you don't know if this is a winning play or spew, it is a spew.
If you know why/how/when/against who to do this and what actions to take post flop, it is a winning play.

Spewy. You're taking a high variance line with a marginal hand that is often dominated against an opponent that you should beat without risking this much. You're actually decreasing your edge by playing this way and making the hand much easier for villain.

Were you calling a PF reraise all in?

40% of stack on KQ = spew

"Loose fish" doesn't really tell us anything about what this guy is opening with. Has he been opening lottsa weirdo hands in EP before? Anyhoo, to a typical EP raise with a tight coldcaller, methinks KQo is an instamuck preflop.

As played, we've got TPGK + gutshot in a $225 pot with only $150 left, so methinks a shove is the only flop play.
