Re: odds to set mine: when you're thinking about this, you only consider initial raiser's stack? Because, in position, I consider every potential Vs stack. In this case, the opener only has 80, but other Vs have more. There's dead money in the pot and now, I don't have to stack V1 to make my odds, I can pick up a bet from all the Vs to make my number.
My thinking has been that if there's one player who has called with a stack, I can target that V. You're suggesting that if the player who opens doesn't have the stack, we can't set mine? That feels very tight. what's the thinking there?

In multiway pots with small stacks and large stacks, I will always get value with set mining in this case. Im on the button, no more raises, so I call 12 wih 55. to fold here is throwing ev into he wind.
