1/2 Live Standard AK decision? 1/2 Live Standard AK decision?

Pretty much just sat down at Mohegan 1/2 with 200 dollars. No reads.

A couple of limpers, I raise it to 12 with AKo on the button (should have raised a little more). Everyone calls, 4 way to the flop. FLop is A--42x.

Checks to me and I bet 25, fold fold check raised to 70. Fold or Shove? Hero is covered.

In a vacuum what do we do? Some random fish might play Ace queen ace jack like this, maybe a flush draw. I think most players would check call with a weak ace. Thanks for the help.

against someone that knows how to play will know if he gets played with what you have.
he will have you beat or the flush draw. you made the bad spot you put yourself in.
look the guy over it is probably player dependent on whether to go or not.

In my limited experience, you only get chek raised in this situation when villain has 2 pairs or better.

Sure there might be the odd villain that limps call w AK/AQ/AJ and thinks thay have the nuts.

I would fold.

Fold.

We showed strength preflop and on an Ace-high flop which villain knows hits us in the middle of our range. Most villains wouldn't credit us with being able to fold AK or AQ here.

All this suggests villain has a 2 pair+ type hand (the worst he ever has is a flush draw - its not often he's crushed with a weaker ace).

100bb is just a bit much for me to stack off here under normal circumstances. If we started the hand with perhaps only $120 in chips then I think I'm never getting away with it.

I doubt it's a flush draw. Most people tend to be passive. I think it is most likely A4, 44 or 22. I'd fold. I think people get too caught up into these spots, aka OMG I have TPTK and I'm not folding to a check/raise ever for under 100bbs and I'm ALWAYS right to do so! Newsflash: when passive donks raise you, they generally have it.

I respect Ray Zee and all but I've read this post about ten times and I'm still not sure what it means.

That first sentence is like some Zen Buddhist proverb; I feel like if I can just figure out what any of it means the path to enlightenment will be made clear to me.

I agree with the 2nd sentence.

Does the 3rd sentence mean that he should have raised more pre?

In the 4th sentence you're just saying that he should try to pick up any physical tells that he can right?

Edit:
In a vacuum, I'm folding and then saying something like "Show the bluff, it's good for the game."
