Hello,

There were about 20 people on the waiting list to play 1/2, so they opened a new table with the top 9.

First hand, Hero($200) (BB) KK , villain bob($150)(UTG+2) raises to $15, folds to hero, hero raises to $42 , villain bob shoves, hero calls. Villain bob shows AA Aces hold.

Second hand, Villain Bob (~$295)(UTG+3) Raises to 15 , folds to hero, hero folds, Villain Joe BB ($298) raises to 45 , Villain bob shoves, Villain Joe snap calls.

Bob shows KK
Joe shows AA

Bob spikes a K on the flop and takes down the pot. At this point the whole table is in awe, and Bob is laughing hysterically (imagine the joker on laughing gas)

an orbit later, I'm back on the big blind and this occurs...

Hero($~190): KK

one limper , Villain Bob (~$800) raises to $15, folds to Hero, Hero raises to $50, limper folds, Villain bob calls.

Flop (~105)

A44

Hero bets $65 , Villain bob shoves , Hero ?

Spoiler:
Hero folds, Villain bob says " I dont slow play"

I've always been a fan of the river flop shove.

If you were going to fold to a shove, why bet so much on the flop?

Yes the river flop shove is rarer then the mighty royal flush it self !! Excuse my thread title,i dont know how that one slipped past me.

I bet 65% pot because i feel anything under 50% pot is so weak and lets draws continue on, by betting more can we narrow villains range ?

I meant now ....on the shove? More that your 65 defined his range?

the horseshoe will fall out of his ass at some point.

He has a draw here so rarely. Your range for him includes 30 Ax combos and 3 draws. Denying him odds to call with diamonds should be about your 97th priority.

You only had $190 so that is the effective stack in this hand. His 800 is not at risk.
