1/2 - KK, stack off on monotone and connected flop? 1/2 - KK, stack off on monotone and connected flop?

Reads: Villain is young, asian, fairly loose preflop, and fairly passive post flop. Not extremely loose/passive, but slightly more loose/passive than an average player.

He limps UTG. I make it $10 with KK. CO, SB, and villain calls. I have $70 left and pot is $42. Flop comes 743. This is probably the third worst flop for kings (worst being an ace comes and 2nd worst being a more connected flop like 765 monotone).

Villain bets $15. Standard ship right?

raise is way too small pre. When playing short, your goal should be to raise to an amount that will get you heads up or 3 way to the flop which will make for an easy shove.

AP ship

Raise pre is fine based on your starting stack. I'd make it $10-12 pre which u did do. As played ship the flop. Ur stack is too short to fold especially wih the pot size

After a limper the raise pre should have been a bit bigger, but $12-$15 would have been fine. In any case, you have to shove this flop with your stack. Your most likely still ahead, your stack is too short to bet/fold and you need to charge any flush/straight draws.

It feels like a pretty standard shove to me. Short stack poker.

Ship it, never folding KK for less than $100 when there's no ace on the flop.

I'd rather not go 4ways to the flop, but with our so small stack its actually not the end of the world. Still, I'd raise way more preflop so that I can get all the chips in quicker.

I ship the flop. We have an overpair on a drawy board with an SPR < 2. And the only raise size that makes sense to the bet is a ship.

Grunch.

Are you playing SS strategy? If so, bet way more PF ($15-$20). Hand plays itself out from that point. If not, we might want to be buying in for more.

As played, we shove. He will call with TP+FD or a small over pair. I don't think he's ever leading into this flop with a flush. Usually donk leads on this type of board is indicative of a flush draw or a small over pair like 8s, 9s, Ts, even Js that want to "protect."

If he shows up with a flush, that's variance. Unless he flips over a better hand, I think we have to shove here.

raise more pre. as played, i fold. if your flop jam gets called, your hoping for a flip against 1 big club. The rest of the time, you're in rough shape.
