Hey guys, this is a common spot where I'd certainly get all in with AJ or an overpair. When you go down a bit in hand quality to KJo, do you still stack off here?

Reads: Villain is pretty solid TAG.

He has $68 to start.

I'm in MP with KJ, raise to $8. Only button calls. Flop comes J87. I check, villain bets $20. Hero? Standard CRAI spot? Also, anyone like check/raise better than just betting flop? I figure I might get him to take a stab if he has like 66 since my hand looks like AK or AQ.

Also, if villain instead had $90 to start, do you still commit?

I'm certainly not folding, and calling is just setting you up to be owned on the turn for a free card if he is betting clubs or something. All in

As played AI. I would lead out on the flop.

He's betting more than pot after you've shown weakness by checking, I don't think he's betting for value. At best, probably a good combo draw, or flush draw with overs (which can be good for you, because if one of his overs is a king, it isn't live.) I would ship here.

While I'm not a big fan of checking the flop in the first place, I can live with it as long as you have a plan for the rest of the hand. What were you telling yourself you would do if he bets?
