4pm - Monday, 8 handed, £1/£2 (Treat it like $1/$3), Max sit-down £500

Table has couple of nits and regs, no LAG. Not many big pot so far.

V (£470) - Just sat down 3-4 orbits ago. Mid 20s German. Had some history with Hero 2 weeks ago after tank calling a river all in on T862A board after Hero opened PF, chk flop and C/R turn + jam river. Pot was over 1k and hero had 8x, V had KTo on btn. V is on the tight side but capable to C-bet with a under PP on dry flop 2 streets.

Hero (£770) - By far the loosest on the table, but V has not been on table V has no info on how Hero is playing

Hero opens K9 to £10 from HJ, V calls in BB, all other folded.

Flop (£20)

QJT

V chks, hero bets £13, V calls.

Turn (£46)

8

V chks, hero bets £26, V calls.

River (£98)

A

V donks £62, Hero raises to £210, V thinks for 10 seconds and went "All in"

Do you call or fold?

i call. your hand is under repped and diguised by the raise pre. i dont think he needs the nut flush to raise the river although i would expect to see it a fair amount of the time also

Where's the tough spot? Your hand and the board block a ton of nut flush combos, and you're getting ~3.5:1 on a call. Throw a redbird to the dealer and call.

Actually we blocks a lot of (almost all) worse combos that would call the river raise.

Bet more on the flop and turn, since most hands calling these smaller bets will also call 3/4 - full pot size bets.

Am I missing something? This is a snap call, you're getting 3.5 to 1 with 2nd nuts

Your decision should have been made before you raised on the river.

Call if you won. Fold if you lost.

I find this a tough spot because I know V knows that I am capable bluff raising river with smaller flush, Kx, set and air. At the meantime I also know that V hasn't really played a hand and generally tight.

perfect, even more of a reason for you to call.

given your history its gotta be a call

Yep, given history and your image, you must call, although I don't blame you for thinking about it. Not many people shove river with less than the nuts, but this is the spot for it.

I'm not sure this is a call. Villain's line looks as if he was drawing to something. Donk-shove doesn't seem like a smart play for a straight on that river. Check-call or even check-raise seem better options for villains non-flush hands in that spot. Villain's play looks like a flush and the board and your cards block most of his non-nut flush combos.

T7 flush is the only hand we beat that makes sense.

But if villain did have the nut flush he butchered his hand on turn by not getting in more $$$ and is just lucky you have the 2nd nuts so in his mind he is a genius.

As played you really can't fold.

You are capable of bluff-raising with these hands? Why? So that villain will fold a small flush? That makes no sense.
