Probably boring, but I'm a beginner, so I appreciate basic feedback.

1-2 live .... My first hand in the session, no reads

MP (has approx $90, I have $200) opens to 7, LP calls, CO calls, folds to me in the BB, I have JJ and make it 25.

MP calls, others fold. So headsup to the flop.

Flop ($64 in pot): KQ3.

I bet $65 to put MP all-in.

Any other/better options at any place in this hand?

Considering the two overcalls and the fact you are out of position, you are going to want to make your 3-bet a little larger.

In general, when you bet this flop, you will get a lot of folds from hands that you crush and calls from hands you are (generally) behind. I think the better line is checking and giving the short stack an opportunity to try and pick it up. That said, it's your first hand at the table and you have already made one aggressive play (your 3-bet), so I would probably just jam it and let everyone think I am an aggro nut.

Size 3bet to $35-45 if you want folds.

As played ship and if they have K Or Q I hope you suck out.

Fukk short stacks.

I agree that you should've raised more preflop.

If MP is aggressive, check, and give him a chance to bluff you.

If he is passive, shove. You can get him to fold his AQ and QT some of the time with a shove, and he's never going to bet TT- with that nightmare board.

If he's ahead, you probably have 11 outs = 44% chance of winning.

When OOP you want to raise slightly bigger .. I like 3 to 4x the raise plus any dead money. So in this case you want to raise at least (3x7 + 14) = 35. Here you are facing a short stack as the opener so dont raise unless you are committed to calling a shove. There is nothing wrong with set mining here if you arent ready to shove ... just be ready to fold more often as well.

Tough Flop here and I agree that you are only being called by hands that beat you or can out draw you (AhXx) especially when a short stack. A check against a short stack isnt bad either since you are only worried about JT chasing the 6 non-heart outs for free and you are calling anyway so you might get him to bluff shove and if you are behind try to catch up.

You can see where a larger FP raise wouldve ended the hand via folds or got you all-in PF so you dont have to think against a short stack on the Flop. Also against a larger stack it is easier to c/f this Flop since you 'have' to think that an opponent would have decent holdings when calling a larger raise. I am not so sure we are c/f anyway since we are drawing to the 2nd nuts ... This would be a tough spot against a larger stack unless you are aggressive with multiple bullets in pocket.

BTW ... There was nothing wrong with iso-raiseing here to $75 either ... GL
