This is a 1/2 home game that I went to for the first time on Friday, when I arrived we started play 5 handed due to the fact that some people were running late and we just wanted to start playing. The first hand takes place with 6 players and the second hand takes place with 8.

Hand 1-
Reads on V - I have only been playing with him for an hour, but my reads so far is a fairly wide calling range PF and will call with any pair on the flop but will generally fold to turn aggression unless he has at least top pair or some sort of draw. He doesn't seem like a fish by any means, but also he seems too loose to be a winning player. He straddles every time.

V straddle to $5
Folds to SB
SB completes
Hero is in BB with AQo
Hero raises to $20
V calls $20
SB folds

Flop - $45
Q73

Hero bets $30....V calls

Turn - $105
5
Hero bets $50
V says, "$50, huh?' then min raises to $100
Hero???

Hand 2 (8 handed)

V1 is a loose player, talking since I got there about a basketball parlay which he had the Cavs moneyline and it lost so he was pissed. Lost one buyin already where he got it all in on the turn with two pair and lost to a straight,. Limps a lot, doesn't seem like a terrible player post flop, pretty straight forward.

V2 got there a few hands ago but I know the type of player he is, very wide raising range, very talkative, talking about how he was playing at the local casino a lot and how he plays in games much bigger than this, he tried to river bluff someone at the table that he was friends with and openly told him I'm gonna bluff you, before he made the raise lol so he's just one of those type of guys

V3 is a really bad player, he has no idea what he is doing and a lot of his plays make absolutely no sense, seen him call a $200 pre flop raise with 34o, this guy can show up with literally any hand, but once he makes his hand, he doesn't maximize value, he will just min bet. He is not a good player at all and should not be in this game.

V1 limps in EP
V2 raises to $15
Folds to Hero on button with JJ
Hero raises to $50
V3 in SB cold calls $50
V1 shoves for $120
V2 folds

Hero???? Can we ever fold this?

Thanks for feedback!

Hand 1:

I probably probe for information (cause it's a home-game) then most likely jam it in. Lots of players in my home game would raise here w/ any Qx, any combo draw and some stone bluffs so your ahead of his range.

Hand 2:

I'm not folding Jacks for 60bb to a loose tilted up gambler and a "really bad player".

Hand #2: Yea, all in. If he shows up w/ QQ+ no worries.

Hand #1: Do you have the Q? This guy is gonna defend his straddle all night so its possible he has 75. Don't see him calling the flop w/ 64 tho. Most likely its a Q 6 or Q 4 type hand. If you hold the Q its more of a decision. I'm leaning towards a call if you don't have the Q, even so its good to get some information to see what kind of hands this guy is gonna defend his straddle with. It'll pay dividends in the future if this game will run regularly with him in it. AQ is too strong to fold here in this setting.
