200 Ef stacks, I am in ep and raise 1010 to 10 after one limp, button calls and limper folds.

16 on flop of 273 two clubs

I bet 10 and he makes it 25. and I make it 70.

I have no reads other than it's a young guy who's kinda aggro but doesnt get too out of line, maybe 20 min of hands with him.

I forgot what the turn was but it brought a club. I think it might have been the jack.

I have 120 and the pot is 156 and I shove .

Do you guys call flop. Do you ever check fold turn? Kinda confused about this one

Flop is never a 3b. It's closer to a fold. What exactly are you trying to accomplish there?

I would not have got here, but AP, turn is an easy c/f. The only hands that weren't already beating you and could call a bet/3b OTF were big draws, so turning your hand into a bluff on a turn flush car is just burning money. Sure, if he has a set, the flush card might scare him, but he almost always calls anyway.

This one is pretty rough. The pre-flop raise is fine. The flop lead is fine. Then things go off the rails. When he raises to 25 his range is going to be sets and club draws. It is 15 more to you for the pot of 51, laying us approximately 3.5 to 1. A call here is perfectly reasonable. You have equity of around 60% against his likely flush draws. Your goal should be to extract value from middling hands that you beat. Hands like A7, K7, 66,55. Your flop 3 bet completely blows those ranges away. In addition to that, the pot is 111 and he needs to put in 45. At 2.5 to 1 he is almost getting the direct odds he needs to outdraw you. Even if he puts you on a set of 7’s, he has 25% equity with a lowly hand like A6 of clubs. That equates to needing 3 to 1 direct pot odds, which you nearly gave him.

All of this is to say, once the 3B comes out and is called, his range is super tight. It is sets and flush draws. Both of those hands beat you. What are you trying to accomplish with a turn shove? You aren’t bluffing out any hands that didn’t already fold the flop. You are only in a situation to be called by hands that have you drawing dead or nearly dead.

Think fact the he wasn’t jammed on flop gives him hope. If you going to tell a story tell it enthusiastically.

At this point he just protecting whatever equity he has from hands like 45o and A7o hands that just felt they had to call flop 3bet.

AP This is the only move you had.

Use the image equity well if called.
