1/2 flopped top pair with KQ facing over bet shove

1/2 home game, near the end of the night so we're 4 handed.
V1 (UTG) is LAG, when we play I'll usually check to him almost 100% of the time that I make a good hand because he will always take a big stab at it. $540 stack.
V2 (BTN) is good, $400 stack.
Hero is in the SB with $700.
UTG limps, BTN makes it $15, Hero in the SB looks down at KQs. I think for a minute and decide to just call. My reasoning is that UTG is a little wild and I want him to stay in in the hand, also I feel like $15 is already kind of big and I don't want to play an even bigger pot oop. There is no rake btw. Let me know your thoughts on this call. UTG ends up limp raising to $75, BTN calls and Hero again thinks for a minute before calling.
Flop ($225) is Q88 rainbow. Hero checks, V1 (UTG) shoves for $540, V2 (BTN) tank folds. Hero?

3b first. Going multiway OOP absolutely sucks. Scooping the pot uncontested is a huge win. I'd probably fold to the l/rr once BTN calls since the pot will be bloated and we're going to be folding post flop too often. As played, if you're going to call this pf and fold on this flop, calling the 3b is an even larger mistake.

Limping is somewhat counter behavior from a LAG. Does he do this often? Has he ever limp reraised?
I'm likely 3 betting here unless we've seen UTG Limp reraise before. I'm not calling the 3bet now either. OOP facing a good player and a LAG in a big pot with KQo is not a place I want to be in generally.
As played, who knows, but I'm probably tank folding, and then getting mad when he shows AK.

3Bet pre >>> call pre >>> fold pre.
Call flop. You literally have the best possible hand you can have. (I assume you are 3betting AQ pre.)

As others stated, I'm mucking this to the PF limp raise since this hand is dominated by that range.
As played, spots like this usually need some help from a live read. The big over-shove is strange. Most V's will just make a standard bet in this spot with an over pair and check QQ. A limp RR with AQ would be odd PF, so that leaves us with big pairs, under pairs (greatly discounted due to PF play and losing anyway), and AK.
9 AA /KK combos out there and 12 AK. Absent a read and the odd play from a LAG, I'm calling. There is nothing on this board that should scare AA or KK, so why shove? The shove stinks of fear. I call in a vacuum, but live I lean on reads. It's usually not hard to judge if a V is nervous or relaxed about their shove.
Call and wait for V to table his hand on the river. If I'm beat, I muck my cards and say NH.
