Home game - about 6 handed.

Stacks are around 300 effective. Players are generally calling stations and are just playing for fun. Most of these players are probably losing players. Reads are - they call too much - especially preflop.

Pre flop
SB posts $1
BB posts $2
Mid position limps.
Hero on button with 10/10 raises to $10
SB folds
BB calls
Limper folds.

Heads up to flop

6 10 6 - $25 pot

BB checks / action to hero.

Will BB peel one at all to smallish bets? Or is his primary line c/f when whiffed? Need some info.. Probably checking back and hoping he catches up.

Is there a fd? If not in just betting and hoping for a six to go nuts. Slow play if there's a reasonable chance that one card can make his hand otherwise build the pot vs his << monster range

how often have you been cbetting? whats your dynamic with the players?

this board pretty much misses everything, so betting into it disguises your hand ironically.. ie, if you raised pre with KJ+ or AJ+, youll still take a stab at this once BB checks to you

if you dont cbet much when you miss, then check it back and hope V catches up or now thinks you just have two overs or small pocket pair

I just bet/bet/bet. Even though we are crushing the deck, there are still a lot of hands that could possibly pay off multiple postflop streets (Tx, 6x, any pair is looking ok on this board, a gutshot, maybe even overcards), especially if villains are typically too cally.

ahh very good question. yes villain will call a wide range. He doesn't like to fold and has been trying to out play me sometimes.

He does tend to give me respect if I keep betting though.

keep with your story of acting weak.. if hes calling 10 otf, he'll prob call 20 ott

then bomb any river card.. it will look bluffy and if will get called if he hits anything

checks because its pretty hard for even a vil who likes to call here to call with less than a 10

I probably woulda bet my standardish cbet size on the flop, so when rounded up, about $15.

Once he calls the flop, I start going for the gold. I bet pottish on the turn and hope he has TP or 6x or something else that he can't possibly let go. I'm going for maximum value against good hands at this point and don't really worry about losing small drips of value against poor hands that he would be calling say another $15 bet with.

If he calls the big turn bet, I'd consider shoving the river (even though it would be a big overbet).
