I'm an online pro. Playing live the next 6 weeks as I prep for a WSOP run, haven't grinded live since pre pandemic so I am shaking off some rust

I get Ts4c in BB. We see a flop of Td4d3s 6 ways.

I lead 10 into 12. UTG calls, UTG+1 raises to 34, SB ccs 34

UTG+1 is a new player to the table, man in his 50s (played one orbit, no showdowns). SB is a station who called a xr, river jam on A432T with 77. UTG is a passive station who is really stoned. UTG+1 has 220, UTG 150 and SB 160, I cover all

I elect to 3b to 90, UTG folds, UTG+1 jams, SB sigh calls, and I call. They have 107d and 43.

Thoughts? How should we be playing the BB in general here? I mentioned I am an online player, so I don't play too many limped pots. Certainly not 6 ways

Your play was fine. I also like check call too because you tend to telegraph your hand when you have two pair or a set, esp when it is multiway. But there are a lot of (usually weaker) players who way overestimate how often people have a flush draw and underestimate how often they just have thick value here.

I feel like check call tends to get value from both the guys that are more conscious of thick value and the guys that always assume flush draw here though. But then you let people with flush draws realize their equity and make it harder to get value if a heart comes on the turn, even worse if a 4 flush comes out.

At these stacks, in a limped pot, I would ship the flop after the UTG+1 raise instead of raising to 90.

unless villains are all old men i CR flop here

you have the board a bit locked i think you make more from someone taking a stab (old men dont take stabs so just bet in that case). obv if anyone has a T they'll bet for you.

plus if it gets checked through and an overcard comes you make more

For these stack sizes, having Top Two and blocking two of the possible three sets.....and a FDFD on board......it's fine.

You could 3bet the 90 or shove. Dealer's choice.

Could also c/r.

Pretty hard to go wrong here. If there were like 3-4 players seeing flop, I'd definitely want to always lead this flop. With 5 behind us, we can check looking to c/r since it's decent chance it won't just check through. Though we do block a lot here, so it might.

I think played fine and hard to really go wrong unless you just bet/called the flop.
