Considering the results of this hand, the image given to villain is incorrect.

Stated image: Very good reg. Loose pre, solid aggressive post.
Image w/ results: fishy, loose pre, calling station post.

Either way, the image given off by hero is off, the image hero gave the villain is off, or both.

I think that if villain was "solid agg post" he would fire out a c-bet with hands that didn't hit(like villain's current hand). This is what threw me off.

As played, hero leaves villain in the dark as to the strength of his hand. The only indicator of strength is the best size of the hero (an overbet of $230 into a $89 pot). Only a real calling station(not villain's image) or better hand would call the overbet. An overbet would rarely ever induce a bluff from the villain.
Knowing that villain had JJ, what reason would you give not to bet the turn?

let's look at both scenarios:

No turn raise(works on nits/thinking players):hero's hand strength remains unknown and can use this to put the villain in tough situation with a bet/raise or check/minbet line on the river

turn raise(works on fish/calling stations): villain might 1)fold 2)call just to see if river card helps 3)be fishy and shove all-in thinking hero has KT

Choosing which one depends on the read hero has of the villain.
