Villain is raising preflop EVERY hand if it folds to him in middle position or later. He also has been 3-betting light and been caught 2 barrel bluffing and 3 barrel bluffing. He also 3-bets light and NEVER folds to a 3-bet. But check folds postflop to them a lot.
Couple limpers.
Villain raises to $15
Hero 3-bets to $43 w As8c
Villain calls.
Pot $93
FLOP 10h 6d 2s
Villain checks
Hero ships $160ish
Thoughts?
Thanks.

^huh? What good player would rep a 'premium overpair' by cramming 2x pot? If he flats 3ball and folds a ton of flop, just bet 1/2 a pot as your cbet. It doest have to work nearly as often, obv.

What are you doing?
Normally i would isolate people that doesnt fold to 3bets with strong hands maybe AT+.
Giving the read that he folds to often to a cbet in 3bet pots your play is fine preflop.
But why the hell are you shipping the flop here. No clue why you would do that. Just do a standart cbet with your read and give up if he calls. Looks like his calling range against
shove/half potbet shouldnt be to much of a difference.

if he never folds to 3b, then my 3b range will be entirely for value. I would probably widen it to something like 99+,AT+. A8o is a little light if he is never folding and i'm sure there are better spots. if he folds to 3b frequently then i like the 3b a lot better since its pretty much a semi bluff. you need him to fold some of the time to make it profitable.
hate hate hate the ship. if he c/f the flop a lot in 3b pots, then a bet of 50 will do the same thing as shipping. in fact, he may even level himself into making a hero call bc he'd assume you wouldn't open ship any premium hand.
