1/2 NLHE.. Villain is new to the table so no info, etc.

Villain ($350) raises to $12 from UTG+2
Hero ($215) (KK) re-raises to $35 from UTG+3
Folds around to Villain who calmly takes his time and 3 bets to $100

So $65 to call, I have $180 back..

Combo of bet sizing, his very calm/slow 4-bet felt extremely strong

does anybody else find a fold?? meaning you folded kk pre to a random live player LOL, maybe if i played with him 3or4 times and had a cold read that he could have nothing other than AA the 4bet size is a little scarry bet you must ship here can't call or fold

since you are only playing 100bbs I think you have to shove. No point in flat calling unless you are ai on the flop no matter what. There is no way you can flat call with the intention of folding to an unfavorable flop (A high etc.) after putting in half your stack. I say ship it pre

I am not sure how many other people agree with me on this one, but I don't mind calling his 4 bet and getting it in on the flop. A 5 bet might blow some opponents off QQ. Shoving with these stacks is never really wrong either, but the call the 4 bet, call flop shove line is an alternative as well.

Hmmm.. Im reconsidering my never eve call stance. Still dont really like it, $115 left and $203 in the pot. Id be insta-shoving any pot without an ace obv, even with an ace out there I hate putting that much in, then folding. See I still like the shove or fold. Coulda shoulda woulda been a sick fold

I have only been playing poker seriously a year now and have never folded K's pre, can anybody share an experience in whice they folded K's

Nah, It was played how it should be. It's unprofitable not to be trying to jam KK in pre every time. If they have AA, pray you hit a K, otherwise it's just "Nh sir". Plenty of live players will get it in with JJ QQ even if they do it calmly. Without a read: Jam jam jam!

Tough luck, but never fold.
