1/2 Live

(MP) V1 $190: Fit-or-fold won't make plays
(Cutoff) Hero $320: 99
(BB) V2 $250: Very wide FCR, likes to make plays A LOT and peels wide preflop.

Preflop: V1 raises to 10, Hero calls 10, BB calls 10 (3-way to the flop, pot =30)

Flop, Pot = 30
K56
V2 x, V1 x (OG PFR), Hero bets 15, V2 calls, V1 folds (HU to the turn).

Turn, Pot = 60
A
V2 x, Hero x

River, Pot = 60
5
V2 bets 30, Hero calls 30...

Here if you don't bet the turn, you should fold to the river bet.

I think that a majority of his Ax and Kx hands would x-call instead of bet/fold here, we really don't rep a lot of worse hands in our value range that our opp. can really value bet OTR.
I can see an Ax betting for value OTR, but that's about it in his value range.

Um i think this v would def x-raise bluff this turn and even though we have a lot of Ax in our range it would be hard to call rivers.

I wasn't suggesting bet the turn.

The reasons why i hate betting turns is because...
1. I value own myself too much against hands that beat me.
2. Too thin and idk if i get called by worse, also if it is an opp. who has a narrow turn x-calling range i like it even less (esp if they x-call turn to never x-fold rivers).

Yeah sorry buster65 i just dunno what to do given this board run out and im always scared of betting/taking control because i can't find good spots to do so without betting into the best hand.

I bet were good 25% of the time here against this villain. I also bet were bad most of the time, but its probably +EV. When you check the turn, it opens you up to getting played back at, so I think calling the river is okay/marginal. Be pretty sick if you turned nines into a bluff OTR

Note: I totally expect this sort of villain to check any Ax hand OTT hoping for a bet from hero.

I expect villain to be checking his entire range here OOP (especially since he defended from the blinds). It is VERY HARD to play OOP without giving away infromation/turning your hand face up.

The question is what range of hands would villain x-fold OTT to a bet, x-call, and x-raise. And what range would he donk bet/lead the turn with.

I doubt this villain folds any Kx on the turn, but I do think this is a good card to barrel.

How does this sound for the turn:
x-fold: airballs, small PP's, 5x/6x hands at some frequency
x-call: Weak Kx hands, which I'm sure he has plenty of, Ax hands, FD's, 5x/6x hands he intends to bluff with if a scare card comes
X-raise: Wacky 2pairs, Set of fives, Ax w/ club draw, bluffs to rep the ace
Donk: Given villain type its hard to say so I'm not going to try (likely nothing)

bet 25 on the flop and take it down.

as played, I would call and see the bad news. A better player would fold.
