Table is 7 handed, $2.50BB, everyone has $150 (60BB) stacks.

Villain is unknown, this hand was like fourth hand he's played. He's young, well dressed FWIW.

Hero is CO with Q J

PREFLOP $3.50
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $2.50, MP calls $2.50, Hero raises to $15, 2 folds, BB calls $12.50, UTG+1 calls $12.50, MP calls $12.50.

FLOP $61 Q 4 6
3 checks, Hero bets $40, BB folds, UTG+1 raises to $135 (AI), MP folds, Hero ?

Pot is $236, $95 to call, so roughly 2.4-to-1.

villain took about 3 seconds to shove, and as I was counting pot odds and putting him on a range, villain was trying to stare me down.

I'm afraid most of slowplayed overpairs, however I discount these a little because of preflop action. So I'm mostly worried about 64/sets/KQ/AQ.

However, I figure in 60 bet poker, TPGK is enough to go with, plus given my pot odds and that villain could def have draws and weaker Jx, I'm priced in.

Villain trying to stare me down makes me feel better about my hand.

Lastly, I've definitely noticed that the small table at my local (big table is $5 bet) plays pretty loose aggro as regards the younger players there.

Hero calls.

Thoughts?

easy call

if you're going to use pokerstove, don't use it for hands like this where the guys range is literally 10% of the deck

Yeah I've got poker stove on my computer and on my phone.

But it's not just my flop call that I'm asking about, I'd anyone sees something in preflop or whatever they'd like to comment on, go right ahead (eg. Isolation sizing, do you ever flat preflop, do you ever check flop or cbet smaller, etc).

FWIW though, I think the ranges you guys give is a little narrow; I'd include way more XXhh/Qx hands.

I have a difficult time imagining someone sitting 4 hands and then shoving on a mediocre draw. Maybe he has like QX? What he's doing doesn't really make sense though, I don't think you can fold without some sort of read.

Feels like he has a set of 4s or 6s, I think fold. How come your 3bet preflop is so high?

There was no 3-bet PF and I don't see how we can feel like he has a set in a 60bb game.

OP: I'm never folding to the AI on the flop in this spot, but you shouldn't be in this spot, ever. The reason for this is because you shouldn't be opening with QJs and 60bb. That is the type of hand that requires more money on the table for both you and your opponents.
