So another fun one, maybe, I'm not using the [LOW] prefix even though it's technically a 1-2 game (at MGM Springfield).
This is the last hand before the room closes on a Sunday night (or 1:30 on a Monday morning).
V1 Mid age white guy, been straddling, blind betting and playing super wide ranges preflop all night ... been running well vs. H but also paying off vs. everyone else. Has ~260
V2 Very old guy who recently moved to the table, seems to be unable to fold preflop has been kind of fit or fold post but also running well and getting paid when he hits. ~350
V3 Drunk guy who is also playing wide, won a decent pot with AK high when he went for an angle "accidentally" raising a straddle to 25 and everyone missed their draws and AK was the only hand that could be bluffed on the river. Covers everyone.
H lost 400 in the first 45 mins. but it's now 4 hours later and he's been up to -150 and back down to roughly -400 again. 372 exactly when the hand starts.
A hand or two before this hand V1 says to H: if you BTN straddle the last hand I'll blind bet 25 in SB.
So as the hand starts H shrugs and...
H BTN straddles 5
V1 blinds bets 25
BB might have folded, but might have already left and V2 was BB
V2 tank calls (but old guy is tank doing everything)
V3 calls
2 or 3 folds to...
H with AQo on BTN and 80 in the pot already.
With 372 and 80 in the pot already and last to act w just a random hand this looks like a jam to me unless you dont want the variance or if the limpers have strong limp ranges.
Some players in the game in play will actually limp call premium hands, even as good as QQ/AK and they will only open raise KK/AA
There's really only one option (well two, but one if we're going with the hand) I would just jam and hopefully we at least sweep up all the dead money and we'll even have outs if someone calls.
Hero shoved without really thinking about it.
V1 in SB called without looking and had J8s.
V2 "tank" called J9s.
V3 folded without much thought.

Seemed like a w/e hand, but kind of unique blinds for me and wondered the next day if someone would prefer raise to 125 or even call or something.
Just seeing this now.
At low stakes, against loose-splashy V's in a multi-way pre-flop situation, yes, absolutely, I love the idea of squeezing all these wingnuts with a big raise.
But I don't play in TX. I play in PA. When I was playing 1/3, if one guy raised to $15 and got 2-3 callers, raising to $90-$115 from the BTN usually got the job done. These guys calling off your jam for $250-$350 with J8 and J9 would make my eye twitch.
Easy jam and good result. Unfortunately you lose often in a 3=way allin. You expectation was like close to +$200 before the flop. Push -> raise -> call -> fold.
