Hi guys.
Very very late night (morning) poker game in local casino, most players tired/ drunk too, 6handed with loose passive fish. Eff stacks at table over 200.
Me and V in this hand eff stacks are 330.
Im MP with T
9
and open to 7. (Indeed quite a loose open) game was being played very loose and i was being able to control well hands post flop so tought i could go ahead with this hand and get paid quite a lot when hitting.
I get called in 3 spots one of them is the V OTB with a stack that covers me. He is the most decent player at the table, being able to take good decisions, thinking well about his hands and is very solid. Looks experienced but in general a honest guy, speaking about his hands always had it when on showdown and that was quite a few times. Hes over 40s white guy. We both been at this table for an hour.
Pot 28
Flop is J
T
7
SB checks and I lead for 15 getting called only by the V
Pot 58
Turn is K
I lead again for 40, V thinks a little while and raises to 90. I tought this card could help his range giving draws or better pairs but had ok odds to draw for the flush so I called the extra 50(??)
Thing is its a min raise. Looks like he's not too worried about giving us good odds and is giving us good price. Should we think its a set here alot? Thing is he could only really have 77...what range we put V on on this?
Pot 240 (we have a potsized bet behind)
River 4
I gave up and checked this time. Imo no point on trying to bluff river after his turn raise. He thinks again for a bit and shoves.
Question, apart from the turn bet/call and his range, is are we ever good here to bluff catch? Resuming we are getting 2 to 1. Dont know if thats good enough for his range. Toughts?
Thanks in advance
