Time to check."
If he has KK or QQ with a spade he is betting that flop.

I think all-in is a bit too loose. The fact that he raised flop with just 88s is already so out of character for him given description. A call here is good. I would have called anything that is reasonable raise apart from a shove.

I couldn't find a fold here no matter what. Even if I could read his mind, I would think he knows I can read minds and is playing me. Never ever folding a boat unless board is double paired or has trips out. Maybe that's why I am a rec fish.

Sorry he had aces. I feel your pain.

NH, WP. I think V's history would have had me spooked a bit too.

Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The fact that he got in your ear early in the session caused you to lose money here.

I see 4 hands played by him and 2 were JJ & QQ.. I agree, I lost money here.. BUT I think its very close - I just dont think tight players raise with the nut flush on a pair board after a STRONG river lead...

This is a weird spot. He could definitely have the other two aces, but I also think he takes this line with QQ, KK with the spade and maybe even AK with the king of spades. That check back on the turn is super suspicious though thinking that he could definitely be getting tricky with the nuts. I'm probably sigh calling here.
