I'm not hating. I just can't help OP make a decision without more information. I agree that V has a strong hand, but that doesn't mean that H should fold.

No. Just sit there quietly. And don't bluff random LLSNL players. Most of them won't fold top pair.

Thanks for the LLSNL tips.

Isnt it good if we make V's think we have a strong hand when we are bluffing?

i agree with the general consensus of snap folding in this thread. keep in mind that 2+2 is not the general poker population and because we do stuff like fold here, does not mean others will fold, you never go wrong by just having a poker face.

focus on theory, add a few reads with tells there and there. i have done some dumb ******ed stuff because i thought i had tells on someone, like literally giving 300-400bbs with a gutshot (i think it was a backdoor gutshot even, ROFL), dont be that guy (me).

i also have done some pretty amazing stuff because of tells/reads, i like to think im ahead in that regard but shhhh this forum would never agree

Don't see why it's so +++EV. You might make villains even more curious which could increase the chances of a call. The average player in a card room doesn't think the same way as the average regular in this forum.

If you try too hard to look strong with your jokes, body language, etc., some could interpret that as weakness.

At the bare minimum, expect to see an overpair here. But most of the time, expect to see something nutted (eg. expect to see a flush if there are 3 spades on board, expect to see a boat/quads if the board is paired, expect to see a set on a dry board, etc.)

This is where the stakes do matter. At 10/25, I'd agree that the player could have perfected his casual manner. At 1/2, probably not. It is hard to act casually when bluffing. Let alone tell a joke. Many people will actually hold their breath. That's why the using the same mannerism when bluffing and value betting is important.

If he's bluffing, he's giving you the hard stare like you were giving him. FWIW, as soon as you delayed and started staring at him, you told him you felt weak.

I know where ops confusion came in your first response. He felt that the opponent was acting weak and thus he was strong, when the reality of the situation was for him to "act" at all showed a level of confidence that suggests he really was strong regardless of what he said or did.
