Villain in this hand is very tricky and by far the best regular at this particular casino. He's probably mid 30s, will check raise with air if he feels opponent is weak and will play any two cards. My image is all over the place sometimes tight, but have they have seen me play wild as well, although I don't think that matters a whole lot for this place.

I only have roughly 400 and the main villain has me covered. There are two limps and then it is to me with AQ hearts and I make it 30 and get 3 callers, with the main villain in, who I have position on. Flop comes A45 (two diamonds, no hearts fwiw) check, I bet 80 only villain above calls. Turn is a 4, which obviously isn't a great card, but it is better then a 32 or diamond. Would you say the turn is a standard bet, with my stack I felt like if I bet again I was committed?

Any idea of his range?

Less than 100BBs deep on a good board I'm betting and getting this in happily, yeah. I assume he'd 3bet AK pre? We don't lose to much.

Turn shove is a pot size bet, so I just shovel it in and hope he can't fold Ax. Not worried about boats on this board, if he's got A5/55/AK then pay him off.

Don't hate a check if he might fold weaker Ax to a turn shove, or uf you can induce bluffs. Get the rest in otr, no matter what.

Why was the 4 not a good card??? I think I just shove bc of stack size.

His range is literally any two cards. Guess on this board Ax diamonds, 5x maybe more.

The 4 is a good card for you imo. If you check V is going to bet bc he senses weakness. I like a bet here.

Where was the V positioned in relation to other callers?
It makes a difference in the flop call of 80. Calling 80 with people behind is different than calling 80 after everyone else has folded.

Was the 4 one of the diamonds? If no, then he might have some 4dxd combo draws in his range, which we would take into consideration.

If we're getting a bet when we check and aren't guaranteed a call when we bet why would we bet with this logic?

I don't like a check there's too many draws and we are ahead here. We need to bet for value and to protect our hand. If a shove is a psb then shove. Can't bet half pot and set up an awkward river bet.
