The mods of LLSNL don't ban people lightly, and certainly don't decide to ban long time posters lightly. It is with regret that I have banned homerdash.

Over the past several days, he has made threats to several posters and in the chat thread made it clear that he's not in a good place mentally. I can not say it any clearer than you need to seek help as soon as possible.

Once you get the help you need and you are in a better position, I will consider lifting the ban. Until then, you have our prayers, best wishes, good karma, etc. as you go through your journey.

I will leave this thread open for those to comment and offer their own words of support. Any trolling will be severely punished.

Homer, I've been at work, so didn't have a chance to respond to your note in the chat thread, but I am definitely willing to cover the Lyft to a mental health appointment if you'll see a licensed provider. Does not have to be one that prescribes medications.

I sincerely mean it when I say that I'm worried about you, I care, and I hope that you get help and get better.

As some of you may already know from reading my blog, I've had some mental health problems for a while. Anyone who is going through mental health problems and wants to get better has my sympathy & support. If anyone wants to talk or would like to know what has worked for me, feel free to pm me.

I think it's good that the mods are shedding light on this issue. IMO we need to do more of that as a society and not treat it as taboo or do anything but help support the person suffering.

Homer, my man- i sincerely wish you the best moving forward.

You had my back when i went through very rough times cause of my clinical depression, sending me PMs checking up on me when you was worried about me due to going a long time without posting. That meant more to me than you probably will ever understand, and i have great respect for you as a person doing that kind of thing.

I am in a much better place now,alot of that i owe to finally settling on an anti depressive medication that works well for me. Life can be freaking hard on many occasions,but keep on taking small constructive steps for yourself and i believe there always is a light flashing in the end of the tunnell.
