I still think I should've bet the river anyway. The biggest way to get from winner to crusher is properly value betting the river and I think I missed the boat on this one. No idea if he calls or not though.
Other crusher tricks: turn raises and bombs liberally sprinkled throughout your game. River is best street for value. Turn works well for applying pressure and regaining control of a hand and manipulating pot size--true pot control is in being able to keep the pot whatever size you want, which sometimes means much, much bigger.
