I could use a little light reading today if anyone wants to respond.

Mine was at the Bike in Southern California. I was out there for business and still on East Coast time, so I woke up Saturday AM and hit the casino at like 5 in the morning. At the weirdest table ever ... one guy was literally asleep I think, an old man maniac to my right kept betting blind. I identified one guy who was obviously playing way too many hands and bluffing all the time and figured JTo was good enough to go up against him. The flop was something like J 8 3, and I called his raise. The turn might have been an Ace, and I called his raise again. The river was something like a K, and he bet out again. The pot was about $200 and he went all-in for his last $30. I called, thinking that I had to be beat; he turned over something like 6 3, and my pair of jacks was good.

At that point in my career it was the biggest pot I had ever won. I left the table a few minutes later, went outside ... it was about 8 AM by then ... a beautiful California morning ... that was the cherry on top.

I'm glad that you enjoy this memory.
